Debora Monaci graduated from the State University of Milan in 2001 with first-class honours and distinction, (defending a dissertation on "Protection of Shareholders in the Extraordinary Administration of Banking Companies").
Subsequently, in 2006, She obtained a PhD in Corporate Law from the University of Brescia with a thesis, later published, on "Liability of Limited Liability Company Shareholders in relation to the intentional decision to carry out harmful operations."
From 2006 to 2011, Debora Monaci served as a Research Fellow in Corporate Law at the University of Milan-Bicocca, where she also held a teaching position in Financial Markets Law.
