Pamela is a Partner in Qatar, who combines her English law background with her experience of Middle Eastern civil code to provide practical advice to clients across the infrastructure and energy sectors.
Pamela focuses her practice on dispute resolution including international and domestic commercial arbitration and mediation and has acted as party representative (counsel) in cases conducted under all major arbitral rules including ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, QICCA and DIAC rules.
In 2022, Pamela was awarded the Lexis Women in Law award for Arbitration Lawyer of the Year and is ranked in both Chambers & Partners and Legal500.

Pamela’s most recent arbitration credentials include:
- Representing a main contractor defending ICC arbitration proceedings brought by two of its subcontractors on an independent power and water project in Qatar valued at USD389m.
- Representing an Emirati developer defend DIAC arbitration proceedings brought by a main contractor on a major urban development project in Dubai.
- Representing a subcontractor in ICC arbitration proceedings brought by a civil works subcontractor in respect of one of the packages of the Doha Metro project.
In addition to arbitration, Pamela regularly provides project counsel during the execution phase of complex energy and infrastructure projects in the Middle East, to avoid dispute escalation.
Pamela is a member of a number of professional associations and is the Honorary Secretary of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in Qatar. Pamela is also a Board member of the National Association of Women in Construction Qatar (NAWIC), and is a MENA region co-chair of the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations.
