Experience

Marco Molling is a European, Dutch, and Belgian Patent Attorney as well as a European Patent Litigator and partner at V.O. Patents & Trademarks. Before joining V.O. in 2000, he worked for five years at a small company specializing in laboratory equipment where he was involved in product development, international marketing, and project management. His expertise is particularly focused on chemical patents, with special emphasis on food technology, process technology, and industrial biotechnology. Additionally, he has a keen interest in interdisciplinary fields where chemistry intersects with medical technology and laboratory technology. His primary responsibilities include drafting patent applications, prosecution in various jurisdictions, European oppositions, and occasional litigation. As a European Patent Litigator, he is authorized to act as a representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
