Bruno Ledrappier is a Partner at Charles Russell Speechlys in the Geneva office, specialising in criminal law on both national and international levels with an emphasis on white collar crime. He has significant experience handling civil cases, including commercial and financial disputes, trust litigation and probate matters. His current flagship matters include the defence of one of the principal defendants in complex financial criminal proceedings in Switzerland on suspicion of laundering the proceeds of tax fraud, who is also the subject of related criminal proceedings in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg, with ramifications in the Middle East. He also represents the interests of numerous structures and financial vehicles targeted by a criminal investigation conducted by the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland, as well as by various mutual legal assistance proceedings, including with the U.S. Department of Justice, on suspicion of embezzlement to the detriment of the sovereign wealth funds of a foreign state. He further represents the interests of a client of a Swiss bank in proceedings against that bank for alleged breaches of its duties of due diligence and loyalty.
