This month at a glance
A warm welcome to 24 new active members from the last 30 days, including Ujjwal Sharma MCIArb in India, Jimi John in India and Yasuchika Fukuda in Japan.
GLE search demand this month was led by practical cross-border guidance on Italy work permits, Uganda tax amendments and Philippine corporate filings.
Recent member visibility spans Q&A, roundtable and social coverage, with David J. Rotfleisch in Canada, Justice Deepak Verma in India and Mandy Simpson in South Africa among the members featured in recent first-party activity.

“Quick note on where things stand.
We've just passed 180,000 monthly visitors to the platform. Twelve months ago that number was 40,000. The figure on its own doesn't mean much. What sits behind it does: companies and individuals arriving to the platform with a live instruction, finding an appropriate member firm, and either making an enquiry directly to the member or through the platform.
Enquiries and referrals are at a record level, and I expect that to keep climbing as our networking events and site traffic increase.
From September we're increasing to six round table networking events every week. Three days, two sessions a day, grouped by practice area and sometimes region. Some of the best referrals we've seen so far this year came out of these sessions. The full events calendar goes live this week, with every session listed and open to book.
Also, the platform redevelopment is full steam ahead, and we're looking forward to showing you what we've built when it launches.

What's new at GLE
The roundtable programme stepped up
July carried five recorded sessions, covering M&A, intellectual property, cross-border commercial disputes, cross-border tax, and how AI is landing in corporate deals. Panels ran two to six members, each speaking to their own jurisdiction. Jon's note above has where the programme goes from here.
What the platform published in July
1,315 articles went live on globallawexperts.com. 341 of them carried a member byline, across 42 different members. Twenty-two videos published alongside them: eighteen member Q&As and four roundtable sessions, all in the video library.

She raised what nobody else on the panel did: AI quietly codifying traditional and indigenous knowledge without consent, and the benefit-sharing models and bespoke contracts that ARIPO states will need to answer it.

He pressed the panel on keeping a human in the loop, every AI finding checked against the source document before it goes near a regulator, and the session closed with the group agreed on it.
